Goals. Why do we set them?

Why do I set goals, and why do I share them?

Setting quarterly goals helps me stay focused.

Sharing my goals holds me accountable. Plus, I hope that they inspire you to set goals as well.

Here's what I plan to accomplish this quarter:

Goal #1: Replace the carpet in the guest bedroom. (Yikes! It's been ten years!)

Goal #2: Operation Kitchen Declutter. Clear the clutter under my kitchen cabinets. Start a "Keep" & "Go" bin and discard what isn't staying.

Goal #3: Hold a yard sale. Sell unused "stuff" from the guest bedroom, kitchen clutter, and other areas of my home where things are collecting dust. (You know, that means I haven't used it if it's dusty!)

I like to keep my goal list small because it helps me focus. Plus, having fewer goals means I'm less likely to procrastinate, and I can break everything down into doable steps.

Each day, I'll set aside time to remove unused items in my kitchen and place them in the "Go" bin. If I don't discard it, it goes to the yard sale.

What are your goals for this month/quarter? Let's support each other. Share in the comments.
